What Our Puppy Families Are Saying

One of the greatest joys of what we do is staying connected with the families who’ve taken our puppies home. Over the years, we’ve received messages, photos, and updates that remind us why we put so much heart into raising these dogs. He gave us all paperwork, extra food for her and gave us loads of information to help us transition to having a new puppy. I was to have knee replacement in August, and after much regret we tried to postpone our pick for a later litter fearing it would be too much during my recovery after surgery. When I contacted Micheal about waiting for another litter he and Alecia assured us that this pup was the one for us and offered to hold Cooper in their home and start basic training until we were ready. He was socialized at this location really well and you can tell. He's 10 weeks old and he's super confident. Climbed up our stairs. He's trying to walk himself by biting his leash, and you can tell he's going to be a smart one. We received a golden retriever but we saw the labs there and they were gorgeous. Contemplated getting one as well, but four dogs is a lot! But in the future we will get our retriever from here, even if we are state or two away. Thank you sir and mam for our puppy! I spoke with Mike several times during this period and on April 26 2024 I was back and ready to go pick out our puppy. Mike had a 4 day old litter so I drove there to take a look and pick our new baby male yellow lab. As we walked to the area where the pups were with their mom we walked past a large pen with several pups out playing. Me loving dog I quickly stopped to see this beautiful yellow female with paws the size of full grown dog. Stopped for a short while and just looked and talked to her. Then we went in and looked at the pups and they were two small at this point to really pick out what I was looking for so I agreed to come back in a few weeks and choose at that time. As we were leaving I stopped again to look at the sweet female and Mike asked me if I wanted to see here out of the pen I told him yes but my wife wanted a male. The pup was so sweet and loving I called my wife several times and she did not pick up the phone. At this point I was unable to leave without taking this loving little girl home with me so went in to the office where we completed the transfer on paper work. Thank God my wife called me back and I videoed chatted with her about this little gem and she fell in love over the phone. I can’t begin to say enough about Faircloth Retrievers and Mike. We picked out the perfect pup and she came home with me. Mike was so good took his time with me and gave me such a comfortable vibe during this process. Thank you Mike @ Faircloth Retrievers you are for sure the best breeder I have ever dealt with in my life time.
